Had several aluminum storm windows and one large double glass vinyl window installed many years ago and these are nearly in new condition. They are easy to operate.Recently had 2 smaller vinyl double windows replaced; they operate very smoothly. The same installer came both times.All these windows have metal hardware- the thing you operate to lock the window, or with the storm windows, adjust and lock. Avoid plastic hardware!

I got locked out of my home. The only way in was a brick through my front window. i callEd the office and ladies were helpful and courteous. They directed a tech to me very quickly. Jerry, the technician was very respectful and knowledgeable working quickly. He cleaned up glass on inside and outside! He took my window frame to shop and was back in under an hour. I am senior and it was wonderful dealing with people that do what they said they would do. I feel like they went above and beyond to help me secure my home.
