“Had several aluminum storm windows and one large double glass vinyl window installed many years ago and these are nearly in new condition. They are easy to operate.Recently had 2 smaller vinyl double windows replaced; they operate very smoothly. The same installer came both times.All these windows have metal hardware- the thing you operate to lock the window, or with the storm windows, adjust and lock. Avoid plastic hardware!“
