The studio offers a range of classes and training programs, including yoga teacher training courses. Ashley, a dedicated and sincere instructor, approaches yoga from a deeply communal and empowering standpoint, focusing on the practice's connection to Black women and spirituality. With a strong emphasis on physical, mental, and intellectual growth, the studio provides a unique and transformative experience for its students.
Update: I requested a partial refund (only for the 300 and 500 hour trainings which hadn’t been released to me yet - and that I don’t plan to pursue) and was immediately told I’d be refunded $100 for the 2 unused courses. (I was skeptical that this would happen, and I was right.) That was 3 weeks ago, and my email following up on a refund status has been ignored.
Very disappointed in the quality of the online yoga teacher training. 200, 300, and 500 hour trainings for $150 total. I knew it was too good to be true and wish I had checked reviews before registering.
I took the 200 hr teacher training on line...horrible. She never responds to questions, teachers don't show up for class. She had a meeting online that her husband facilitated because she was out of town. He didn't know anything the meeting was very unprofessional. She never did another meeting to make up for that!! Her lectures have no introduction She just starts talking. The experience was horrible and she got me for the initial $25 down payment and $25 a month for the virtual studio... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!
I paid for this yoga teacher training after seeing it widely advertised on social media because I specifically wanted to support a Black woman-owned business. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up, course access information, or even login instructions. I reached out multiple times and got no response. The complete lack of communication is concerning, and the fact that the program was heavily promoted but not delivered is extremely disappointing.
