the staff is sparse and the ones that do care are overworked trying to make up for those who don't. there is zero communication and they don't seem to know who is doing what. i am tired of trying to change things there when even the staff does not seem to care. i emplore people to please make sure you have enough saved for your future!!!!!!
The staff is not motivated. They must get very little pay because they don't really look like they want to do their job. You could be lying on the floor in a pool of blood and they would walk right over you if they took the time. When you go in there for Rehab, they ignore your pleas for help. I worked in a hospital and case managers would send people they're thinking it was a GREAT place to go. Well let me say this! If I was still working in a hospital I would let them know from first-hand experience how bad this place is and that they should never send anyone there.
After a fall and a broken femur, our elderly family member was sent to gardens court For 21 days of rehab after surgery. The family member misdiagnosed as having a broken arm or shoulder. They had neither. Just a bruise from the fall that broke the leg. Yesterday The 2nd floor staff refused to leave the nursing station to help our family member go to the toilet. We were told that the patient would just have to soil their clothes until an aide was available. Basic human dignities are being ignored so that the staff can stare into computer screens and pretend they are busy. Disgusting behavior to say the least. One star is too many by a factor of 10
