Very nice area and well cleaned. A great resting place for families and easy to get to where I need to go. Sometimes I take a walk around and enjoy the history and tranquility of Greenwood Cemetary.

Came here on 4th of July for a walk, it’s “dead” center of Orlando. It’s my second time here, its most notable residents are the veterans, T.G.Lee the dairy farmer, some of Orlando’s former mayor’s, Joe Tinker who was a baseball player, a famous botanist and the baby land graves. Many of the patients from Sunland TB hospital are also buried here, they offer moonlight walking tours also if you’re interested in hearing about the history of some of these people in more detail.

I started coming over here about a year ago to find a veteran grave of a young woman who passed in the 60s had no clue where to look for her, one of the workers was very kind even though he spoke no English he went of his way to help pin point her grave he did ... very nice gentleman and beautiful cemetery
