I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with the Vision Center in Fleming Island. I called to schedule an eye appointment for my son and ended up being put on hold for a whopping 45 minutes. This already left a sour taste in my mouth, but things only got worse.After finally giving up on the phone and deciding to drive to the Vision Center in person, I was shocked to find that the place was not busy at all. Won't dispense glasses without an a licensed optometrist, even though glasses were paid for. I could just plug in my kids eye scrip into a web site and have them send me a dozen glasses. This archaic system should be redone to benefit folks working and doing things.
