“We took our 2 6 months old mini Schnauzers to the boot camp two weeks training. The staff was very professional showing us the camp area (very clean and perfect temperature for the hot days we have been having.)
To my girlfriend it was a long two weeks.
Picked them up yesterday, WOW what a difference in their attitudes and listening to commands.
Will probably take 2 weeks for my girlfriend and I to get train in guiding them

“I love Bay Paws Pet Resort. I know weather I'm sending my pup Charlie there for a day of play, a bath or a weekend away she's in the best hands. The staff always makes me feel welcome when I walk in and they're always excited to see Charlie.

I love how clean the facility is when you walk in and it doesn't feel like a boarder. Prior to finding Bay Paws I went to a different boarder in the area and I thought it was normal for it to smell like dogs and have the sounds of barking the entire time. At Bay Paws that is not the case. My dog use to come home with no voice and lethargic and I thought that was just part of boarding your pet.

Having access to the camera feeds is such a plus, because I know I can pop on at any time and see her.

They are also so accommodating. My parents dog was much older and did not like to be alone so we were able to board my dog and theirs together in the same suite when we would go away as a family.

My dog has separation anxiety from me and when she is there that anxiety goes away once she goes through the doors. She always has a blast and I am able to see that on the camera.

She has also been going to Jamie for grooming her entire life and I wouldn't go to anyone else for that because she ALWAYS looks amazing when I pick her up.

If I could give Pay Paws 100 stars I would because they truly are the best.“

The staff here is truly outstanding and Dr Jose and her tech were especially caring and thorough. Despite being fully booked, my wait was very reasonable. “We just picked up our dog, Finn. He is a goldendoodle. Not the easiest dog to groom. He has gone to other groomers before and I decided to try this place based on other reviews. They EXCEEDED expectations by a long shot. He was groomed to perfection with little touches I didnt even expect. He looked so happy on pickup so I know he had a blast there. “Oliver was there for his yearly exam and shots. The Dr was so sweet with him and gave him a very thorough exam including a rectal, which apparently wasn’t painful as he didn’t flinch at all. Oliver has been going there since he was born and will continue and it a drive for me but worth it!!“

For context, he was an abused rescue dog, fearful of humans with attachment issues, and he actually enjoys seeing the staff at this location. I have never had an incident or disagreement with staff. “I have been coming here ever since I was a child, and my mom had ever since she was a teenager. We have brought ferrets, dogs, and birds and always received such great, caring service.

Last year, I adopted my first dog on my own, and of course there was no other vet I’d take her to. Not even two months ago, I brought her in to get her annual vaccines when Dr. Brooks noticed some lumps in her mammary glands. It is something that I probably never would have noticed on my own. He walked us through what it could be, as well as what we would have to do to test them. With the probability of it being cancer, and with my financial situation, I was heartbroken and preparing for the worst, but the entire team handled this situation with so much grace and they were extremely understanding and able to work with us.

All of her diagnostic tests and surgery were done in just a few weeks without any complications. We got her stitches removed yesterday and I am so so thankful for Dr. Brooks and the entire team here. Sticky has been doing so well, and the cancer was caught before it had the chance to progress. I can’t even explain the relief I feel for getting to have more time with my baby. We owe it all to everyone here for catching it and removing it with such swiftness and care. I could not recommend them enough.“

“About three years ago I found Veterinarian ,Dr. Dan Cowden and his hospital called A Pet's Place. Dr. Cowden an experienced professional who received his degree from Auburn University. He also has a great sense of humor. The staff is hard working and always trying to help any way possible. His assistant is strong, caring, and one of the best vet assistance I have ever seen. And lets not forget the office manager who greats you promptly on the phone or in person and is always willing to fit you into the schedule. The reason I sought out Dr Cowden was because of my rescued Bull Terrier (Molly) who I adopted from the Bull Terrier Rescue Club of South Florida. She was a puppy mill Mom who was about 5 years old, lived on concrete and had dozens of puppies. She was always looking for her puppies and food. She was also hurt by her last owner whose grand mother called the bull terrier rescue club.The minute Dr Cowden saw her and the condition of her eyes, he immediately estimated her to be 12 years old. I knew he was the vet I wanted to help her in her final life stages. Her life expectancy was 14 years. She went to Pets Place at least every other month till she passed away in May of 2026, As many bull terriers do she enjoyed the final stages of life becoming more friendly, mischievous hungry, thirsty and still looking for her puppies even if they were 80 pound Golden Retrievers. The AWESOME loving people of Pets Place and God extended Molly Dogs life to about 15.5 years. I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me, my family and of course Molly, AKA The Mole. Molly is at Rainbow Bridge with all her puppies and if you did not know its all you can eat
A Pets Place also takes great care of Diesel Dog a younger bigger Red Bull Terrier who was also adopted slightly before Molly. Everyone gets excited just to see him.“

“Jill has been grooming our now 5-year-old Maltese for the past two years, and we couldn't be happier with her care. Our dog is very anxious and can be quite the squirmer when she's uncomfortable, but Jill is incredibly patient and always makes her feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

She is consistently communicative, whether it's letting us know about any matting that may affect the haircut or if she's running a little behind (which is rare, as she's usually very timely).
