“I have tried a few different places down here from small mom and pop shops to large corporate shops. I have not at all been pleased with the experiences until now. Staff was very friendly but more importantly they did a good job. She was cleaned and smelled fresh (other places you can’t even tell if a bath was given), her ears were cleaned thoroughly (other places seem like they don’t even touch them despite being part of the service), and her nails were trimmed nicely without any jagged or splintering edges as some places leave them. It’s only my first time here but based on what I have seen, I’d recommend them to anyone in the area and will be returning.“

“I felt like my Yoshi needed a much more calmer grooming experience and was referred to Glenny. She was so amazing, almost felt like talking to a family member. She sat down with us and I was able to tell her a few behavioral concerns I had. She assured me that she would keep me updated. I felt super comfortable leaving Yoshi with her. As promised she kept me updated on his behavior and understood when he needed play breaks in between and the result was proof in her work. She was able to get a full groom in-yay! “I have been going here for over 15 years. At first, on occasion, when I could not do it myself, I had my fur baby Kitties groomed here. Always handled with care. Then I started with my puppies. Not small dogs, 65 lb dogs and one now, with disability They have always been loving, caring, and patient with my puppies. My puppies are so excited every time they go there. They even push me out of the car door to be the first one in. They do an awesome job, for reasonable price. As long as we live in this area we will go nowhere else. “The new owner of Southpaw is not only a great groomer but also very understanding and compassionate. My grandmother has dementia and when my grandfather passed their dogs fell into the background, and the result was needing a groom- BADLY. Covered in matts, very very dirty, and couldn’t see through the hair growth on their faces. I explained how badly they were in need of a groom and she scheduled ASAP for me to bring them in. She was very understanding and kind about their condition, didn’t make us feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, and the end result was two very old crusty and dirty dogs getting comfort grooms - as they were truly uncomfortable before - while still managing to come out of it looking “cute”. We’re very happy with the service and although we will NEVER wait this long to bring them in for a groom again… we will be back to Southpaw Spa. Thanks Hope!“
“We took our very skittish and stressed dog ( Beau Doodle) who was a rescue because he came from a hoarding situation.We think we were more nervous than he was when we dropped him off. We were very happy with the way he was treated and groomed. Very friendly and animal loving staff! When we picked him up he was less stressed than we were when we dropped him off.
