I will give it two stars just because the gym has very good equipments and classes. However they should be more strict when it comes to letting people talk on their phones. It's insane the amount of people you see using their phones here and talking out loud next to you or sitting on any equipment wasting time. Like I get it it is 2023 and everyone is into it, but at least talking on the phone out loud for hours shouldn't be allowed. there should be someone getting this people outside to use their phones and then they can come inside just to workout. I just visited this location being used to working out at Hudson Yards and I found that it could need some improvement to be up to par. There are simply not enough amenities. They should bring the barrel saunas they have at Hudson Yards to their rooftop. They should add a jacuzzi on that rooftop too. Yes, a pool is nice and the steam room is excellent but it’s not enough for such prime location. No enforcement of the rules. Recently left this gym as I joined equinox to avoid the talk on the phone and not rack your weights crowd has taken over. Add to that instragram/onlyfans social media stars taking over the equipment for photo shoots, etc and not letting other members work in. If you enjoy NY transplants talking loudly on their phones while attempting to "work out" this is a great place. Staff doesnt care to enforce the rules Equinox orginally sought after. Equipment is old, decaying as well. The views are great from here if thats your deal. Good location and friendly service staff cleaning the place.
