“Managed to get a same day appointment for a gel change while on holiday from the UK and staying locally. Due to poor application at a salon before I left the UK my existing gel manicure was starting to lift and I knew it couldn’t wait until I returned home to England. Unfortunately, before I got to my appointment I had an accident and broke my thumb nail right down the centre of the nail and half way down the nail bed, it was incredibly painful and I was unsure what, if anything the salon would be able to do to help. Thankfully the technician was clearly very experienced and took care to examine my nail thoroughly before deciding on the most appropriate course of action. She explained (via her daughter as I don’t speak Spanish) carefully exactly what she would do and took great care to ensure I was happy and understood clearly what she would do. Very gently she cut my broken nail as far down as she could and filled the top of the gel off, she then carefully attached a tip to the end of my nail to even it out and help prevent the broken remains catching and causing me pain before completing my gel change. I can’t thank the technician and her daughter enough, I’m so sorry I didn’t get your names.“
