Membership options are flexible, with daily and weekly passes starting at $10, and monthly memberships ranging from $30 to $50, with no contract required. The gym also offers group exercise classes for seniors, such as Tai-Chi and Strength and Conditioning.
This gym is great for a traveler with their day pass. It's got a lot of equipment packed into a small place. The equipment is old, pretty worn, and the dumbbell pairs are all different makes but it all works and is clean.
Definitely not like a commercial gym but way better than hotel gyms. If you just need to get some pumping iron done, especially on travel, this is a good place.
Monday morning, the girl at the front desk doesn't even answer a greeting, on the phone on a personal call, very unfriendly in general.
Over the weekends, sometimes no one in the front desk, people come and go without being checked on, place dirty, some pins missing, and hot, with no music very often.
Crystal Beach Fitness is the neighborhood gym. This gym is located on the beach side of Collins Ave inside The Crystal Beach Suites Hotel and it's water front. Everyone is really nice and most people know each other. Although it's not a big boxed gym, it is a complete gym which means it has everything you need. Also, since it's located in a hotel, you have access to the pool and private beach. There are lockers and showers, big windows facing the beach and cathedral ceiling. The membership ranges anywhere from $30+tax to $50+tax month to month without contract. Basically you pay for the month you're going to use and it's not required to leave your credit card information. They also charge $10 for the day and $25+tax for one week. In my opinion, they offer unbeatable prices compared to any other health club in South Florida (With a pool and beach front). I hope you find my review helpful.
