“Unfortunately my good experience with the Doctor and getting glasses was ruined when my frame broke. Less than 6 months after getting my glasses the frame for the right lense broke. I went back to AVC and was told that the frame was covered by warranty but I would have to pay $25.00, Which would not have been a problem, however they didn't have the frame in stock and would check their other stores. Within a hour of getting home I got a call to say that no store had the frame and it had been discontinued. My option was to pay for another frame. My response was if the frame was under warranty and now discontinued why couldn't I get another frame. I was told it had to be the same frame.
I went back the following day with a old frame to find out how much it would cost to have my prescription lenses put in I was told $265.00 and I would have to sign a disclaimer that they would not be responsible if my frame got damaged. I then asked for a copy of my prescription. Just to let advanced vision know I got my prescription in my frames for $50.00 and I didn't have to wait 3 weeks or sign a disclaimer. I won't be back!”
