Ed is the best. I've been to every Pilates studio around, trying all different types of group classes, private classes, equipment, etc. but I have never had consistent results from class to class, or I felt like the instructor was there for the aesthetic and not for the actual movement and improvement of the students. I've been attending Empowered Movement for the past 3 months and have seen an improvement in my overall fitness, posture, and how I think about my body alignment and daily movements. You will not find a better studio or instructor than Empowered Movement and Ed Duffey! My husband and I both train with Ed and we enjoy working out again! Ed is knowledgeable, attentive and is always making sure you're getting the most out of every movement. I'm so glad we met Ed! I'd be a beach bum if it weren't for him :)

My private lesson with Ed was phenomenal. I have a very weak posture and a curve spine. After a couple sections I felt all the changes happening especially in posture and my back pain slowly residing. Highly recommend him. He is a great instructor and very supportive.
