I was visiting Lakeland and needed to see a Dr. for an infection that couldn't wait until I got home to Oregon. None of the urgent care centers near me had very good ratings so I chose the one that was closest to my hotel and I'm glad I did. Watson South is spacious, clean, modern, well staffed. The staff is efficient and friendly. Most importantly, I was seen by Dr. Wells within about 30-40 minutes (which is very good for urgent care.). He was professional, thorough and helpful. Because he knew my husband and I were leaving the area within 1 to 2 hours. he gave me a paper script so I could take it to the a pharmacy that could fill it the quickest. So here is my experience with the clinic.. started off waiting over an hour for my appointment, (I usually expect a little wait, so not a big deal) I finally get back into the exam room and I'm only back there for maybe 8-10 minutes. The doctor says they will order xrays, allergy test, and referral to see a specialist. I was never told if allergy prescription was actually ordered out and I wasn't asked which pharmacy was preferred so I ended up going across town to pick it up. Days after getting my xrays done with abnormal results I'm still waiting to hear back from my doctor. I called specialist and they require MRI before even scheduling to see them. This facility is super nice and I can’t say enough good things about Dr Lindsay Hamid and the nurse Jackie! Super friendly and helped out tremendously! Jackie has to be my favorite nurse of all time!
