Adam was great! I was given an appt window from 12pm to 4pm and he was here right at 12 (rarely happens with any other service provider company)! He identified the problem, explained the repairs and pricing, and fixed it all in one visit. Couldn’t be happier with Fenwick HVAC!
Sunday, 12/8/24 11:10 AM - Contacted Waychoff's representative [Keta], by phone, and discussed our issue ["Aux Heat On" message displayed, repeatedly, on thermostat display screen]. She indicated there would be an $89.00 diagnostic fee, if the issue was other than warranty related. An appointment was set up for between Noon and 4 PM [today]. About 1 PM - Waychoff e-mailed and texted information about their repairman [Cale Gilbert], and when to expect his arrival [tracking link for repairman's vehicle]. 2 PM - Waychoff's repairman [Cale Gilbert] arrived. We discussed my perceived issue ["Aux Heat On" message displayed, repeatedly, on thermostat display screen]. After checking the compressor, the representative believed that the issue was a coolant leak. He searched for and found a leak in the air handler Evaporator Coil. The part was ordered and the system was set up so that we could use the Aux Heat in the air handler, if necessary. We were told to expect that the part should be made available tomorrow [Monday], and that a new repair appointment would be coordinated by Waychoff. 3 PM - Waychoff's repairman departed our location. Monday, 12/9/24 9:30 AM - Waychoff's representative [Christine], contacted us by phone. She said that the required replacement Evaporator Coil was available. She scheduled a repair appointment for the following day [Tuesday], between 10 AM and 2 PM. Tuesday, 12/10/24 11:20 AM - We received both a text and an e-mail about the repairman [Cale Gilbert], and when to expect his arrival [tracking link for repair vehicle provided]. 12:00 PM - The repairman [Cale Gilbert] arrived and proceeded to remove and replace the Evaporator Coil in the air handler. After replacement, the coolant pressure lines were leak checked, evacuated [ensuring no extraneous gas (specifically moisture) was in the lines], and then refilled with coolant. Upon completion of his work, Cale cleaned the work areas. 4:20 PM - Work was completed. Associated paperwork was provided. Cale departed the house. Excellent communication, scheduling, timeliness, follow-up, and repair. FYI - the work was covered by warranty [no charge for evaluation, parts, or labor].
I was experiencing dripping from my ac in the closet it was in and someone recommended Chris Hall they said he works with waychoff's AC I called and got an appointment the next day. Chris Hall came out very professional and thorough.
He solved it I was so pleased.
