UF Health Rehabilitation - Jacksonville utilizes a team-based, personalized approach to address the rehabilitation needs of adult patients with various diagnoses. They aim to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life. One patient found speech therapy evaluations and sessions particularly helpful for strengthening and articulating their voice in relation to Parkinson's disease. Upon completion, they were able to participate in weekly SPEAK OUT Zoom sessions for continued progress. A different patient highly praises the 8th street Rehab facility and their physical therapist, Krista Boniecki. They have noticed significant improvement in balance and strength thanks to her care and guidance. Electrical therapy has further contributed to the patient's progress. Krista Boniecki's expertise as a physical therapist, with a background in neurology, has been instrumental in a patient's recovery from CIDP. I visited this rehabilitation center for my lower back issues, and for the first time, someone truly explained the root cause of my pain in a way that resonated with me and made sense. Jonah, in particular, provided the best advice and taught me practical techniques to address the issue rather than just masking the symptoms, as many chiropractors often do. I’ll definitely be returning to this location. I also want to mention Shantasia at the front desk her personality is so radiant! She’s incredibly sweet, efficient, and quick with check-ins and check-outs.
UF Health offers the best approach to theraphy compared to other theraphy facilities I’ve gone to in Jacksonville.
UF offers one patient to one therapist unlike other theraphy facilities. My therapist Nisha V Patel is very caring, kind and knowledgeable person. She is truly an asset in her profession. The entire staff here are very friendly, courteous and Iam very lucky a friend recommended UF Health.
