4219 Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville“I have been fortunate enough to train with the Sakimukai family for over 15 years and cannot recommend the Dojo highly enough.
This place is a rare and special opportunity to learn traditional Japanese and Okinawan martial arts that have been kept relevant for the modern day that is tied to a very esteemed lineage.
While it is not for everyone, the benefits for those who are willing to dedicate time and energy toward these disciplines are very real.“

3627 Dupont Ave #500, Jacksonville“All the instructors are all fantastically patient and caring. The other students seem to also follow lead, and everyone is friendly yet focused. I have little to no martial arts experience and the instructors take the time to explain things thoroughly to the entire class, and one-on-one. There is a great sense of community, and a focus on developing the student's skills. These classes are not just about fitness or going through the motions, every class is non-stop learning. It's very different from the big chain martial arts classes. You'll learn WHY you do certain movements and how to adjust when what you do isn't quite right. Both my husband and I look forward to class and go nearly every day, hopefully we can get past our two left feet!“

3844 Burnett Park Rd, Jacksonville“I train primarily at a sister dojo in Cuong Nhu, but I train at Mandarin Martial Arts periodically. I have been training in this style for a few years and am a green belt now. During the early ranks of Cuong Nhu, there is a foundation very reminiscent of Shotokan Karate which blossoms out into a variety of different techniques from a variety of backgrounds, some soft and fluid, others hard and strong. Since Cuong Nhu is diverse in its techniques, it is perfect for finding what styles work best for you. I am a larger person of strong build, so I find techniques from Judo and Karate suite me well. However, Cuong Nhu also opened me up to T'ai Chi, a much more relaxed and graceful style, which I now cross-train in as well as learn similar techniques in through Cuong Nhu. At Mandarin Martial Arts, you certainly get a workout, but the Senseis are all very adamant about building character and being friendly. I must also add that the prices here are very affordable. Many of the Senseis are volunteers, so they don't have the need to charge a great deal of money like many other martial arts classes around here do.“

1840 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville“My son.
Attended Master Song K Paks karate academy well over 30 years ago. Master Pak helped to teach my son self control and self discipline. Master Pak and his family helped me develop my son into the fine gentleman he is today. Master Pak is more than a Tang Soo Do Master he an example of what is good and right. Master Pak no longer uses the old techniques parents are too soft now. If you're a person who is looking for a great karate school stop in and see Master Pak you won't regret it.“

“Juan and other coaches are great. I only got to stay for about 1 year and 2 months, and I've learned so much over just a little time. but dont be lazy. Be consistent and be serious about it. If you wanna compete to just talk to Juan and he will help you out. The people here are kind, truthful, and like family, I thank all the coaches and people that train there to for everything. ? recommend.“
