AWESOME experience! We bought a new construction home with a well and there was a high iron content which made the water smell and taste metallic! I called affordable water after a neighbor recommended them. They were able to come out on short notice the same day. He recommended the best machine for our water makeup and planned the setup we needed. Come installation day they were on time and professional they had clearly communicated with the owner who I originally talked to. They knew all of the inner workings and notes about what we had discussed. They completed installation quickly and accurately. There is a significant and noticeable difference!!! My experience with Affordable Water has been completely positive. I was actually referred to this company by a very experienced plumber who said he did not do the install of water softeners anymore but he said he would refer his own family to go to Affordable Water. The company is family owned and run and it was completely satisfying to be helped by Terry initially who set up the appointment with her son Adam who sold us the Dual Media softener and was installed by Stacy who was very personable and did a professional install. They were really great to work with. Love that it's family owned and the son really took his time to educate us. We got quotes from 3 places and he was the only one who took his time with us and made sure the system would be the right size for our use. Price was in line with the other places, but I also don't know what size the other systems would have been.We've had the system for about 3 months and this is the first time I've liked having a water softener. This one doesn't leave me feeling slimy.
