Tiffany, in scheduling, assured me that I could begin therapy within a few days. I met the therapist, Dr. Aspen Hixon, whom I found to be very professional and friendly. Dr. Hixon followed my surgeon's protocol, working with me twice a week to return my range of motion and strength. I also met with Dr. Scott Gray a couple of times when he checked on my progress. I am very pleased with the results provided by Dr. Hixon, as well as the kind, personal interactions with Dr. Gray and Tiffany. “I have been working with a Doctor since 12/22 after a spinal fx to improve osteoporosis without bisphosphonates. At first my T scores continued to decline. In Dec. 2023 Spine was -4.1, L fem neck -2.6, Left hip -2.3. I had been working to change my diet, healing my gut, adding supplements to improve deficiencies, improving sleep, optimizing HRT & decreasing stress. In January 2024 I started Osteostrong. I too was a little skeptical and a little scared to start to load my spine like this but I knew that was the piece of the puzzle I needed to add to start to turn this around with all the other things I was doing. From 1/20204-7/2024 I started osteostrong, optimized BHRT and started calcitonin. And in only 6 months I repeated my DEXA and my spine dropped to -3.7, left femoral neck -2.5 and left hip -1.8. All Staff members both on the front desk as receptionist and telephone operators are very sociable and work together.
All the Physical therapists work extremely close together and share information to establish relief for their patients 😀.
I have been assigned a personal trainer ( Julie) and Julie has worked wonders with my ailments. Hip replacement totally.
I just have to give so much credit to Lee Health for the hiring such a fantastic staff
