I recently took my mother to her eye doctor appointment. This was with Eye Associates at 4101 Evans Ave. Upon arrival the front desk was pleasant and the wait time was average. I will say that the staff that took care of mother in the back were more courteous and professional then some of the front desk personnel. The young ladies that gave my mother the eye tests , and took pictures of her eyes were top notch professionals. They were beyond courteous, professional and empathetic with my mother's care and needs. Her appointment was to see Dr. Spencer and when got to see him he was great. I arrived slightly early for my appointment and they were totally prepared to accommodate me. Was taken in and I went through the processes of my examination quickly and this out any delays, which was very nice. I was in and out of there quicker than I anticipated, which is always nice and set up my next appointment so all is good. Overall very pleasant experience. The Hi mushroomstaff was warm and inviting and so is the doctor which is hardly the case usually as I have found at least. Very good experience!
I was pleasantly surprised by not waiting for my exam. Got there early and was taken in promptly. The staff person did all the exams and prepared a report for the dr. Met my dr for the first time dr Valerie Crandall. She explained everything in detail. She also checked my eyes. Also explained why I was having itchy teary eyes. Gave me a prescription over the counter meds. Checked out at the desk and the receptionist was very helpful about a motor vehicle form that needs to be sent out.
