First off, I just want to say that I’m very very happy with the progress and the quality of work that is happening on my dream home on Sanibel and I’m so glad I went with Sunset Builders. My wife and I are new to the island and we really wanted to help rebuild the Sanibel community after the hurricane, and be part of a community because we have a large family with 4 kids under 7. When we bought the house, it needed a full renovation. I called several contractors and they all had the same pitch. What was different about you guys was Mike, he never rushed me and he listened to all my concerns, wants, and needs AND gave his own insights. His communication was fantastic from the start. The day we set up an on site meeting for a full walk through, a whole team showed up and I was blown away. The project managers and superintendents all showed up alongside Mike to go over the work to be done. Everyday I visit the job site and see the progress. All the material being used is high quality, nothing cheap which is amazing. Overall I’m very happy and satisfied with the quality of work and I can’t wait to see my finished house.LB“

“Our experience with Paradise Pavers installing our driveway, walkway and garden bed wall was outstanding from start to finish. Rob, the owner helped us design and choose the pavers best suited to mesh with our house color and materials. He suggested adding a paver enclosure for our mailbox which brought the curb appeal to a whole new level. The employees were true artisans and hard workers who arrived at 7:30 am and worked until dark to complete the job in 3 days. Rob was readily accessible through out the project to answer questions and make design changes as requested.“

“I do not very often write recommendations but I wanted to highly recommend The Screen Doctor. Our cage needed to be rehabbed. We had rusting screws. We worried at every hurricane season it would not hold. We also had aluminum pieces compromised because the screws had rusted on the structure. Our screens were also a low quality screen and in bad shape and needed to desperately be replaced.The Screen Doctor did our cage remodel. Brought it from a rusted screws and damaged structure to looking like a brand new cage. Using quality materials. They showed up on the promised day promptly.Very professional crew as well. From our meetings with Eric the owner, to Freddy who made sure to keep us informed of our project schedule and work with us. The crew that did our cage work, Brad, Joe and Willy were incredible. Marvin the project manager, was also on top of things, though with this crew, they completed the work excellently and I joked with him that he had it easy as the project manager with them. This particular crew had many years of working for Eric and his company which is more than you find in most companies in the area. The crew was very meticulous and made sure everything on our contract was completed to our satisfaction. Even something my husband and Eric had spoken verbally that was resolved. I even had a change order on our contract at the last minute and Freddy calculated how much it would be in price so I could decide if we were going to add it to the job. The crew was very professional, detail oriented and super polite. We have done a lot of work on our home; remodeled it from top to bottom and this crew was exceptional to any other we have had work on our home. You could tell by the end product they take pride in their work. We did not have to worry that it would get done right!Eric the owner is up front, honest and meticulous outlining what he will do in your contract. He also took the time to think through our project. We were also doing our deck lanai flooring, he recommended we remove the cage bottoms so we would have a seamless floor the way it should be. Not paint or pavers up to the bottoms impeding the water flow. He worked with us to do our cage remodel in two phases so we could have a flooring company do our flooring in between phases. Phase 1 being remove the 1x2 bottoms and phase 2, the pool cage rehab and remodel. He even called later and explained he was going to build special sized brackets to hold our cage to the pool deck floor in the interim months while we had to wait for our scheduled remodel date in case of bad weather. Thank goodness because we had some pretty windy bad storms in December and his thoroughness protected our cage and home. He also outlined two estimates since we really wanted to do panoramic however our dock decided to fail this year adding an expense. We decided to go with the less expensive option to remodel but Eric knew how badly I wanted the panoramic and suggested removing the chair rails from our cage. What a difference! I love the more open view out to our water view.I can not speak highly enough about this company.One of the things that was very important to us was a better water flow from the cage bottoms so when we have storms water doesn't puddle on the pool deck. Our old cage bottoms were so painted over and clogged no water could flow through. His method to raise the bottoms a fraction is what made us learn how much he cares about doing things high quality on each job.This is how every company should function! Such a pleasure after 7 years of living here to know that The Screen Doctor is not just a company doing a job but a customer relationship and company that cares about our area and doing right by their employees and customers. We had to wait several months as with any company since they are all backup up. It was worth the wait!Update: Entire Pool cage structure collapsed during Hurricane Ian. Make sure and remove or slit your screens or remove doors. We wish this company would have made us aware of this. Not many homeowners know to do this.“
