“I absolutely love the medical professionals, assistants, and administrative staff at Coastal Health-Spine & Pain Center's Orange Park office on Kingsley Ave. I've been visiting their Spine & Pain Centers for nearly twelve years. I started at their Riverside office in Jacksonville. You know how referrals go: you end up going wherever you're told. But I moved to their Middleburg office to stay with the same doctor, then realized I could use their Orange Park location, and that's where I've been for the last 6-7 years. Plus, it's much closer to home.
I promise you, if your pain has negatively affected your quality of life, then you should give them a try. They helped me understand all the tools they have and what to ask for based on my medical issues. If it weren't for them, I'd probably be curled up in bed, ready to give up on this world.
Everyone I've met at the Orange Park office has always been wonderful to interact with. All of them are willing to help me, and every time they do so with a smile.
I've had multiple spine procedures, trigger point injections, gone to physical therapy, tried various treatment plans, and even had a spinal cord stimulator inserted. The key thing they've helped me realize is that my quality of life depends as much on my efforts as it does on theirs.
If you take the time to see what they can offer you, follow their instructions, and allow time for their treatments and procedures to work, they usually do. Sometimes they don't. And if they do work, you'll probably need additional treatments or procedures to maintain or improve your pain relief. Even if it's only 20-30%, and even if only for a few months, that doesn't mean the treatment or procedure failed; it means it was successful where the follow-up might increase that percentage and duration.
The feedback you provide helps them assist you better each time you visit. They can be a true blessing if you let them and if you take responsibility for your health and quality of life.“
