“I’ve always had issues in my tendons that run through my calves and ankles. It restricts me to be able to stand straight and I’ve been a toe walker ever since I was little. I was a former gymnast, and did gymnastics for around 8 years. I got injuries pretty often and my tendon problems caused many interferences. I went to two different medical doctors who told me I was going to have to have surgery on both my calves and one of my ankles. Because I’m still a teenager, I felt that I didn’t want to have to get so many surgeries this young. I also didn’t want to get put on consistent medicine since I’ve had past issues with prescriptions. I’ve always believed that trying a natural approach is always best before committing to such major choices. I found Dr. Phan’s office when I searched in acupuncture near me and have been going there now for about five weeks. He’s treating my tendons in my calves and legs and it has been having a great effect. I feel more relaxed and less restricted than before. The pain has gotten less as well whenever I go for treatment. I highly recommend that more people, especially younger people like myself, will go to try acupuncture and natural treatments. It so much better to be able to have a non invasive process that works with your body than having to have surgery. Dr. Phan and his assistant Jennifer, are both so nice and supportive!
