“this program has been so impactful, it's hard to put into words.. it hasn't always been pretty or easy. it's been incredibly challenging and frustrating at times. i originally pursued this program due to the "intensive" structure of the first 2 years, which allowed me to continue working and living at home. intensive is a perfect word for it. it requires self-discipline, self-motivation, and a lot of self-care. if you're ready and willing to grow, this experience can be quite transformative.

now that my clinical internship is nearing its close, i feel proud of the professionalism i've been able to develop here. the program prepares you to not only treat patients within the 5 Element / Chinese medical system but to also understand their allopathic medical diagnoses and medications. we've had practice management classes with great insights on how to start and run an acupuncture business. working with patients through the different levels of clinic has provided much opportunity to learn, receive feedback, and further hone our technical & interpersonal skills.
