I am beyond fortunate to have Dr. Coates as my Primary Eye Dr. She and her staff are absolutely amazing! Dr. Coates is kind, genuine and actually takes time and listens to you. Every question and concern I have had has been addressed. Dr. Coates doesn't treat you as "just a patient." She is extremely knowledgable and if something doesn't seem right she doesn't just let it go, she will look further into it until she is sure that any issue is corrected and that you are seeing the best that you can! I really liked both The white haired older lady who greeted me as well as Dr Coates. She was very nice and did a very thorough exam and wrote me a prescription for progressives. I realized when I got home that the prescription didn’t have the PD (pupil distance). When I went back the next morning to get it some young brunette woman refused to measure it unless I ordered glasses from them. I find this poor business practice and when I asked her why she wouldn’t do it she failed to give me a reason answer( she said ‘we just don’t’ ). Measuring PD is simple enough to do especially when billing my health insurance hundreds for an eye exam.

Don’t turn a blind eye to the importance of regular check-ups! Dr. Coates and staff are impeccable at their job! Excellent clean office with prompt courteous service featuring an exceptional selection of eyewear. This doctor always makes sure to keep an eye out for her patients!
