Home Health Care near Celebration

“Over the past 6 months I've used home health care through Advent Out Patient services twice. The first was directly through Advent (I believe) and the second time Amedisys Home Health Care was the services provider I must say that the services provided by Amedisys has been far better than the other provider as follows:> pre visit contact - on evening prior to scheduled visit, On most occasions the Advent home health care group failed to call the evening and left me hanging as to when/if they would show up.> on three specific occasions they failed to even show up at all, after scheduling appointment with me,; I had to call the supervisor to get a nurse to to show up. The actual nurses who finally showed up were fine so my negative comments is not directed at the nurses but rather the organization's management. In my opinion not a well managed organization.The client experience has been much better with Amedisys. Appointment confirmations have been spot on and arrival times have been on target. I would like to recognize what I consider to be outstanding service by one of your nurses by the name of Richard Deghetto. His attention and follow up have been superb, he is always on time and really goes the extra mile and his professionalism is outstanding. I do hope you will pass on my appreciation and thanks to Richard for a professional job well done.Best regards,William Hughes“

“This 5-star review specifically goes towards my mom’s caregiver, Marthe. She is the most compassionate, loving and professional woman. She is kind and patient with my mom who has Alzheimer’s disease. She continuously makes Mom feel important and needed. She provides Mom the ability to help choose her clothing, help make her bed etc. all with the patience of a Saint.
She allows Mom to make the choices she wants.
Mom is a very affectionate lady and Marthe reciprocates the love.
