“I had been taking my fur baby to VCA when I lived further south. When he became ill, I went to the one in Spanish River. He was diagnosed with a mass but no one there clearly explained what he likely was suffering from, didn't give me any real prognosis, and charged me an astronomical amount for bloodwork. I knew he didn't have much time regardless. It was clear to see in his appearance and demeanor. When it was clear it was his time, I reached out to Central Animal Hospital. I am so glad I did. The vet was so kind and throughly explained what he had been suffering from based on the records I had sent and gave me the choice for what to do, but I knew and he agreed. The staff was beyond kind and supportive when I sat with my Dusty to say goodbye. I left with an endearing keepsake of his paw and nose prints and some fur. Nothing ever makes this decision easy, but the staff there made the moment special, and I could not be more grateful.
