I had been taking my fur baby to VCA when I lived further south. When he became ill, I went to the one in Spanish River. He was diagnosed with a mass but no one there clearly explained what he likely was suffering from, didn't give me any real prognosis, and charged me an astronomical amount for bloodwork. Dr. Lavengco and the entire staff were very kind and empathetic for our early morning emergency visit for my fur baby. They were quick with bringing him in and diagnosis, and very patient and understanding with me when I had to make THE toughest decision I’ve ever made to send him to heaven. I cannot thank them enough for the care they gave him and peace of mind they gave me knowing it was the best thing to do for my baby to ease his suffering.
