About Life Time
Life Time Boca Raton is a large fitness center that offers more than just a gym. It has an expansive fitness floor, unlimited studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools. Members can enjoy unlimited group training and personalized attention through their Signature Membership. The facility provides a clean and comfortable environment with well-organized equipment and separate floors. The amenities include a locker room, bathroom, steam room sauna, and a hot tub, which are appreciated by members. The indoor and outdoor pools are also a big plus. However, the location is in need of a remodel, with some areas such as the spa and garage showing signs of wear. The child care area is very small, and some members feel it could benefit from an indoor playground. The front staff have been described as not very welcoming, and the machines on the second floor are close together, leaving little space to stretch. The turf outside may be too hot for outdoor workouts. Despite these issues, the amenities like pools, sauna, and hot tub make it a popular choice for fitness enthusiasts.
Three stars for the staff & the atmosphere but this location is in dire need of a remodel. Been a member for almost 2 years now, I love it but I’ve been to 2 other lifetime locations in south Florida & it’s crazy how much you’re missing out on (The coral gables one and the falls location)…the Boca location is just not up to the same standards. I was super pumped when I saw they were doing some work to the spa area not too long ago but to my surprise they just changed the wood out of the sauna (not bad but) the whole building needs to be teared down & built new. Cons - Front staff are not welcoming or warm. The child care area is extremely small, should at least have an indoor playground. It’s almost as if the lifestore took space from the child care area. LifeCafe servers are not friendly and do not even greet you. Not even a smile or thank you.
You could hear the basketball court the entire time working out. Machines are very close together on the second floor. There is no place to stretch.
There’s a turf outside but it’s hot here in Florida to workout outside, let alone stretch outside .

it hurts to say because the people that work there are really nice so i feel bad leaving a pretty average review but i mean well….this gym is pretty average. for a lifetime at least. first of all, it’s always just crowded no matter what because they let all of the college kids and basketball rec teams or whatever they have going on take over the gym and they’re always so loud. i can hear them over my powerbeats. not only that but they only have 2 true squat racks upstairs right, so they started adding more squat racks to the downstairs room (yay!) so problem solved..? no. not problem solved. they have like 8 or so squat racks down there with absolutely no mirrors....read full review
