“Bakari Helping Chronic Pain and Injury from 2,850 Miles Away!I cannot believe how much working with Bakari via Zoom from 2,850 miles away has improved my range of motion and reduced my chronic pain. After Bakari's assessment (on the house), he asked me to hang on the arm bar to see if I had pain. No! Amazing.I am amazed at how much Bakari knows and how he can work with me on Zoom, with my computer on my bed and a mirror behind me.Since I shattered my left collarbone in 2013 riding horses (of course!) I have had chronic pain and declining health (called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and . I have been to every specialist, physical therapist, and surgeon near and far. Ony my excellent family doctor has kept me from keeling over altogether. I have resisted having a second surgery, even though I am in severe chronic pain, because the first surgery left my arm paralyzed for a year. Also most people do not report good results from more surgery.I will say that working with Bakari means working HARD. The movements look easy but they are not, especially since I have not used my muscles correctly for about 9 years. And sometimes it hurts. Luckily Bakari knows a ton, and always has workarounds when the movements are too difficult! And even though there is pain during the workout, will I trade some pain working out with Bakari against a lifetime of future chronic pain and steady decline? You bet! The pictures show what I want to keep doing... and with Bakari's help I think I can. And when I am stronger I'm going to have Bakari help my husband with his chronic injury!“
