“Went to the Floating Lotus Spa in Gainesville, Fl for the first time because I was given a gift certificate as a surprise !! The atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant and clean. My massage was wonderful! Very relaxing room, staff made me feel at ease and made sure I was enjoying my massage and that everything was comfortable and to my liking. She was amazing!!! Proceeded on to my facial. Again the room was very clean and relaxing, not quite as relaxing as the massage but guess that's kind of to be expected. Everything was explained as she did it. Only aspect of the facial that was kind of disappointing was at the end when they ran their fingers through my hair after it was over, which I feel was meant to be a kind gesture to straighten the hair from being tied up, however I left feeling like my hair felt a little dirty like maybe their was still cream or lotion on her hands, and upon further looking at my booking confirmation it said Paraffin - Hands but the receipt said anti oxidant - hands. The website talked about it being a deep heat paraffin treatment while my experience was just lotion rubbed on my arms and hands, nothing that involved heat. Overall it was a nice experience and I would definitely recommend contacting them if you are interested in a nice relaxing massage!“

“The front desk staff Melina, McKenna and Delaney are absolutely amazing. They made me and the environment feel so welcoming soon as I stepped in the door. They explained everything to me, including how to join and become a member. My massage therapist Micah and esthetician Cali we’re very helpful and were the best of the best. They both explained everything before doing anything. They made sure that I was comfortable as this was my very first time getting a full body massage and a facial. they made the environment so comfortable. The beds were heated to my liking which made my body feel relaxed even more. The whole entire building was very very clean. I loved the cleanliness of every single room they put me in. They offered me refreshments while I waited in the room before beginning. The music and lighting were played softly to my liking. I highly recommend this place and will be returning as a member.“
