From the very first appointment i felt like the staff at TBC actually cared about my well-being. At every appointment i felt like my questions were welcomed and answered fully, the midwives shared so much of their knowledge with me and encouraged me in my pregnancy. I appreciated how seriously they took my concerns and how i never felt like i was a burden.
My birth experience could not have gone better! I was so blessed to have Sarah Grace as my midwife- she is so down to earth and has a great sense of humor. During the most difficult part of labor she kept repeating that i was doing wonderful and would bring my cold washcloths for my face. She was careful to never interrupt a contraction and would check my baby’s heartbeat from whatever position i happened to be in, and i felt like i could fully trust her! My nurse Brooke was also amazing, she was so easy to talk to and just such a sweet person.

The top-notch care continued through postpartum! A midwife came to do a home visit the day after my son was born, which gave me so much peace because those first few days are rough. I struggled a lot mentally during that first month, but i didn’t feel alone thanks to the nurses and midwives at TBC- one nurse, Allison, reached out to me and invited me to the postpartum support group, and would message/call me to make sure i was okay, which meant so much. I often talk about the Birth Center to friends and family, and would recommend it in a heartbeat!“
