“The DIAGNOSTIC breast center is a very small and intimate place which manages to do more than any breast center I’ve ever been to. You’ll have your 3-D mammogram and then wait for the doctor to examine it. Once he’s done, he comes out to get you and you sit next to him and go over this year’s and last year films so he can give you specific feedback. If you have any trouble like a nodule that doesn’t seem quite right, he takes you right in to do an ultrasound. There is no waiting. He is also added an AI feature which I understand. Research shows is quite amazing in this area.“

“Dr. Zhang has helped me tremendously for my GI problems. I started seeing Dr. Zhang about 2 months ago. I wasn't sure how effective acupuncture would be to GI problems. I thought it's mostly effective to joint/muscle pain problems. But since my GI doctors can't help me at all, I thought I'd give it a try. I was having very bad indigestion then feeling a block of lead in my stomach and lost 10lbs in a month. I've had reflux for several years but never had such bad indigestion before. I could only eat 2 pieces of bread a day, couldn't walk for 10 minutes without taking a break and was becoming a skeleton. My GI doctors just kept telling me to take antacid. I was desperate.

During the first visit, Dr. Zhang asked me about my problems thourougly and started acupuncture. I felt the lead block in my stomach was mostly gone immediately after the first session. I was so happy because it gave me hope. After that, I see Dr. Zhang twice a week. Every time, she asks about my symptoms, gives me suggestions such as taking probiotics, what physical workout I could try, what food I could try, etc., and adjusts how she uses the needles according to my symptoms. During this time, I also gradually stopped antacid and started using apple cider vinegar to supplement my stomach acid. I found out that my problem was due to low stomach acid and using antacid only temporarily pressed down the reflux but made the indigestion worse in the long run. Yet, this alone wouldn't fully cure my indigestion. Every week I look forward to the acupuncture sessions, as my symptoms are getting better and better each session. After 2 months, now I could eat normal meals and has gained 8lbs back! I'll continue to see Dr. Zhang till all my symptoms are gone. Not every doctor is so experienced and at the same time empathetic to patients. I just can't thank her enough!!!“
