Our AC went out - we discovered it at about 3 am. I contacted Puckett's right away. They come out a couple of times per year for a maintenance contract and have done other hvac work for us over the past couple of years. Jay came out and checked the system. Diagnosed the problem quickly. Unfortunately, he didn't have the part he needed on his truck. He made sure he could get his hands on the part and scheduled me for the next day (today). He called me at 0830 to tell me he could be here by 0930 instead of noon. I really appreciated the advance notice. He was here by 0915 and got to work right away. Our AC died on a holiday weekend. They worked to get us a unit and installed it on Friday. Unfortunately there was a problem. The owner came home from vacation to get our new system working. Highly recommend them.
Jay was outstanding from start to finish. He came out to diagnose an issue with our year and a half old mini split system that had been installed improperly, and his knowledge and professionalism were obvious right away.
He took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, why it happened, and what needed to be done to fix it. He never rushed us, answered every question honestly, and made sure we understood everything without talking over our heads. It’s rare to find someone who is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely trustworthy.
