Matt and his excellent team renovated a house of mine in Rehoboth Beach, DE, inside and out, during the pandemic. It was built a hundred years ago and desperately needed a thorough update, which is in many ways harder to pull off than a new build. The experience was so good that I approached him to do a much more extensive renovation of the associated guest cottage. There was significant complexity in both jobs, in addition to the intense and ever-shifting challenges of COVID itself. The initial renovation turned out beautifully and I cannot be more satisfied. After a bad experience with another builder, we went to Matt Toback to ask for help building our dream house. Matt got right to work on getting things done, was always professional, pleasant and a pleasure to work with.
