“I love Eli Ali Salon! I’ve been working with Eli for 5+ years and she is the absolute best at what she does! I’ve been bleaching my hair for 10+ years; when I did it myself it started falling out, and when I went to other salons it turned out brassy and uneven. After working with Eli, my hair is finally healthy again, and she gives me the platinum blonde look I love! I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. And Ali is also an amazing hairstylist! They are both such lovely and kind people who care so much about what they do, and are amazing at their jobs. “Just went to AMP for the first time and I can't say enough great things about this place. Booked a cut with Eli, who honestly gave me the best tapered fade I've ever gotten. It's not an easy style to execute and I could tell they knew what they were doing, and really took their time to deliver a flawless result (I can't stop looking in the mirror!). Very friendly and fun to chat with as well. Would recommend them to anybody looking for a killer barber/stylist.

The overall experience at AMP felt premium too - the studio space was bright, modern, and welcoming. Service and attention to detail were really thoughtful as well - my coffee mug even came with a fancy lid so hair wouldn't get in my drink! “Maggy's salon is one of the best I've ever been to. I've had some bad experiences with hairdressers before in DC, so I was very reluctant to trust somebody else with my hair. However, Maggy did a spectacular job. She fully understood what I wanted, and gave me what I wanted and more. Some people are just gifted with working with hair, and Maggy is certainly one of them!

“I called and was able to get in right away. They were closing early for the snow storm and let me know to come ASAP so I did! This was my first time at the salon but I will definitely be back. The prices were very reasonable and the owner eveb wrapped my hair for me (for a small fee for the bobby pins). I was very happy with the wash blow dry and set, although next time I will definitely include the deep conditioner treatment.“

First off, the salon is GORGEOUS: beautiful art, plants, spotless, music (neo soul) was on point, and there was free coffee, tea, water and other refreshments. My stylist, Tavia, was so gentle and knowledgeable. She recommended some products for me throughout the service and gave me the best wash + deep conditioning I’ve had in a while. Everyone in the shop was lovely. Emily at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend for my other loc’d, faux locs, and natural sistas!“
