They completed the roof on our cape in one day with a large crew. The people that work for them are some of the best around, they are dedicated and hard working. The crew worked so well together and they supported each other to get the job done.

Some of the things that set them apart are the use of a self sealing ice and water shield that they put on the whole roof, not just the edges. and a larger drip edge over the minimum one that most companies use. The self sealing ice and water shield is important because when you have so many nails going through it you want those holes to seal around the nails.

I could go on and on about the quality of the work that his company does. John came first thing in the morning of the job to do a walk around with us and check that they had every item correct. Then he did another one when the man in charge came, to fill him in on everything. The work went smoothly and efficiently. The day after John came back to check on the job and make sure that we were happy.

It is unusual to have such a large project completed and not have anything bad to say about it. I am blown away by the whole process. I would recommend J.T. Burke to anyone looking for a solid company that treats you right, does quality work, and truly cares.“

“I had a terrific experience with the Nu-Face team, who replaced the siding on my house in West Hartford. I got three quotes from different companies, and the sales rep Peter gave me a good price while also sending me the offer to review on my own time. Other companies were pushy about asking me to sign on the spot, and only after comparing was it apparent that their offers were not as good. I took this as a sign that Nu-face would be responsive to questions later and indeed the whole team was very professional. I also appreciated that once the work started they were able to complete the siding and gutter replacement in only 1 week (though my house is on the small side). This kept me from having a dumpster blocking my driveway for an extended period of time. “I met with Jon Wolf from BNF Construction, and honestly, it almost seemed too good to be true, so I passed at first. Over the next few months, I noticed several of my neighbors getting new roofs from Jon, and every one of them had nothing but great things to say about him and his company. I decided to give him another call, and I am so glad I did.

I had previously been working with a solar company that promised me a “free roof,” but it was actually going to cost me around $30,000. Jon explained how the insurance process worked, and he and his team delivered on every promise they made. In the end, I paid only my $500 deductible for the exact same roofing system the solar company had told me was the best available.

After the roof was complete, I found out BNF also installs solar. I asked Jon to take a look at my electric bill, and his proposal was incredible. It saves me almost $100 per month compared to the other company’s quote, guarantees more energy production, and my payment never increases. Every other solar company I spoke with insisted the payment had to increase by 2.9% every year. Jon’s proposal was less expensive from day one and stays the same for the life of the agreement.
