I have spoken with Eleanora at the Stamford Hospital main switchboard twice this week trying to find a specific doctor. Eleanora was helpful, efficient and friendly to boot! She went above and beyond trying to connect me with the right office. I wish all telephone conversations with Stamford Hospital would be this pleasant and efficient. She is amazing!

This hospital is massive. When i grew up here, it was just a single small building. Now i don't know front from back from left from right. Tons and tons of parking lots...but they all seem to be for staff. there's a garage, i believe, for visitors, but i'm not sure because I never saw a sign or anything - but i've seen what looks like a garage entrance. Your best bet - and I guess what is encourages - is to do the valet parking. just roll in and let them take it. it's four bucks. i felt bad bc i hadn't planned on using valet and had no cash for a tip. i apologized profusely. Speaking specifically about the Labor & Delivery / Postpartum care - truly wonderful experience. The nurses are all angels, Doctors kind and personable. Rooms are beautifully renovated, big, clean, and comfortable. Made my labor & delivery a positive experience as complications arose. Honestly, have only great things to say about this hospital, all staff we interacted with friendly & kind. Would recommend to any friend or family looking for a hospital to have their baby.
