My six year old son hadn’t gotten a haircut in probably five months because he struggles with feeling “itchy” from the hair and sitting for awhile. Karen was incredible with him. She was so patient and did an amazing job on his hair! The vibe there is awesome and there was so much cool stuff on the walls for him to look at while we waited. Everyone there was friendly and my kiddo had an awesome experience. Definitely our new place to go!!
Garrett's Barber Shop is great and I highly recommend it. I used to live in the Newington area and found the shop because it was close and convenient, but since moving I always make the drive to come back because it's worth it. The shop has a lot of character, everyone is friendly, and whether you are their client or someone else's, everyone at the shop always greets you and has a kind word to say. Shannon is my barber and she does an excellent job. I don't cut my hair as frequently, but she remembers exactly what I need every time I come in. Any time I need to clean up for an event personal or professional, she's the person I trust for the job!
Welcoming environment, easy conversation to figure out what I wanted to do, and very good end result. Booking the appointment was also very smooth. Will definitely be returning for my next cut. The specific Master Barber I had (Shannon) was both friendly and professional and good!
