Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale

Me and my boyfriend had a good experience staying at Omni New Haven. We chose the hotel based on the location and liked the old charm of the building. We also got a pretty good price. Checking in was super easy and the hotel staff even gave us a list of restaurants which was very kind.We ran into some issues that were resolved (and some that weren’t worth resolving on site but should not really be issues in a 4-star hotel). This is not your typical Omni.As a black level member I know about Omni, and this is not that.It seems to be trying better each time but yet fails in some way. The air conditioning never works. Seems repairs are always happening. Im woken up to drilling hammering and etc You can hear the elevator going up and down from your room. The doors slam all morning long. Carlos was such a great help! We had an early check in to prepare for my wedding day later in the afternoon! He was so kind and helpful!The room could be better. Definitely needs some upgrades. The refridgerator had a horrible stench when you opened it and our tub was clogged. Someone did come and fix the tub right away which was great. Overall the service was amazing. The room just wasnt the best in my opinion.Food & drinks: Great location! Lots of restaurants!
