Everyone we’ve worked with at landworks has been wonderful! The fence turned out absolutely gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. I did a lot of research before choosing them and the price is fair and the customer service is unmatched. They were incredibly flexible with getting this project done for us. WOW!!! Is really the only way to start this review!! I had an amazing and memorable time here at Slay Jay Beauty and was blown away by the experience. The service from the owner Jojo was impeccable. I arrived early for my appointment and Jojo was already ready and set up. She offered refreshments from her chic beverage bar. With that being said, the beauty parlor in general is chic, the gorgeous decor is top tier and the cleanliness is unmatched. I am grateful to be able to have a brow tech who takes pride in her space.
Now on to the service, once I was acclimated and Jojo made sure I was comfortable she explained all the steps in the Ombre eyebrow application. She went step by step during the application letting me know what step we were on as well as what she was doing in real time. Jojo was very gentle, she made sure she was not applying too much pressure and she really wasn't, I was actually so relaxed I could have went to sleep . She is amazing to say the least. Jojo made sure my eyebrows were perfect and even quadruple checked when I made a comment about being insecure. She made me feel so comfortable. I loveeeeeed my experience, She SLAYEEDDDDDD my brows.
6 month update: Brows are still browing!! I am so in love still. I am a believer lol and I will continue to go to Jojo when it is time for the refresh.

Michelle is a true expert when it comes to color. She took me under her wing after a “bad root job.” by a different place, who refused to work with me. Everything happens for a reason because she’s 1/8 of a mile from my house and she rocks color. My hair is shiny and bouncing and behaving. Excellent service and she really went the extra mile to ensure my roots were covered. The color is spectacular! I am elated with Michelle, and booked my next appointment in 6 weeks. Hands down the best salon I have ever been to. I have been a client of Brittany for 5 years and travel an hour to see her. Honestly, I would travel any distance and I am not exaggerating. She is a consummate professional, a true artist when it comes to color and cuts. The salon is gorgeous, friendly and everyone who works there truly supports one another and everyone who leaves there leaves feeling gorgeous. I’ve personally had Liz do my hair for my wedding as well as regular cuts and color. Not only is she knowledgeable, experienced, and fantastic, but she’s personable and truly cares about her clients as well. Liz strives to make sure all of her client’s needs and expectations are met and is one of those rare hairdresser finds that you follow everywhere. Heads up: She does book up quickly and well in advance so I’d recommend getting on her calendar sooner rather than later.

I’ve been to this hair salon twice now to get my roots highlighted. I dyed my hair blonde, but my natural hair is dark, which creates a strong contrast—so I’ve had to touch up the roots every other month, which is quite high-maintenance.
The first time I went, the hairdresser examined my damaged hair—caused by multiple rounds of bleaching at two other salons—and suggested toning down the blonde and only highlighting the top half of my hair. This way, it would blend better with my dark roots while still keeping a blonde look. Honestly, I wasn’t excited about toning it down because I wanted to go full platinum, but I decided to trust her. The result was very satisfying—it suited my skin tone well and looked more natural.
Since then, I’ve become a regular. About 5–6 weeks later, I went back just to touch up the roots, expecting the same approach. However, the hairdresser said there was too much dark hair showing in the front and decided to highlight that area more after the first round of highlighting. Somehow, the product she used ended up lightening all of my hair again—almost like it was shampooed with bleach—so I ended up going full blonde instead of keeping the blended style from before. Still, I was happy with how it turned out.
Each visit takes about three hours, so if you’re planning to get your hair dyed, be sure to make an appointment.

It was my first visit to this salon today. I last minute needed a pedicure and a manicure. I walked in and was immediately greeted. All the employees are really sweet and they make you feel comfortable.
Fast, friendly and I left very happy! I go to my friend for acrylic sets normally but she wasn’t available so I tried out diamond nails for a fill and they did an amazing job! Very happy with this salon!
I will never go anywhere else! I primarily come for pedicures, usually once a month. I get either the $42 pedicure (includes 10 min massage) or the $50 pedicure (includes massage and callous remover). I also usually get the quick dry top coat which is another $2. Overall, since I just get basic polish, I never have any issues. Most of the chairs (not all of them) have built in massages, so it's nice to relax in the chair as well.
I've gotten my nails done before, usually just basic manicures (~$12) though to clean up my cuticles. A few times I've also gotten gel sets (~$80+). They do charge extra for designs, and sometimes I feel those prices are a bit high given the design. Although, I still pay it and any time I've been unsatisfied, Grace has been more than willing to make it right.
The only real con I have is that even though I make an appointment or call ahead, I am still usually waiting at least 20 minutes before we start. This sort of defeats the purpose of an appointment in my opinion, but they are NOT the only company to do this. I feel everyone does lol. I just have to plan to be there for nearly 2 hours if I don't want to overbook myself.
The shoulder massage while you're waiting for your nails to dry is another plus as I've never been to a salon that's done this before! Highly recommend!
Adam & Sue both do such an amazing job! I won’t go to any other nail salon & I convince my family members to come here when they want their nails done for special occasions. I get a mani/pedi regularly and my sister gets acrylics with designs - never disappointed. The salon is clean, welcoming, and cozy. I highly recommend getting your nails done by Sue or Adam!
I got a UV gel refill, done by Kim. Kim is a very kind and professional woman. She made me feel heard. She did what I asked and corrected anything that I didn’t like. She did not make a fuss and I only waited five minutes before I was serviced.
This was my first time at Regal Nails, and I must say that my experience was very pleasant. I will be back to see Kim again!
I have to update my review. I've been going to Bebe's for over a year now and the service is still great. My daughter and I go to Tay every three weeks. At this point everyone in the salon is our adoptive family. My daughter is on the spectrum and everyone at the salon is so attentive to her. She walks out every time feeling like a million bucks. This hands down is the best nail salon in CT. If you're looking for an immaculately clean salon with a great atmosphere book an appointment now, you won't be disappointed!

I recently needed some help with backup due to roots growing into my pipes. Northeast Rooter was at my house in less than an hour & got the job done without leaving any mess behind. I would definitely recommend them.
Have had R&R come out for various non-urgent repairs and boiler maintenance over the last 20 years. A handful of aging copper pipe joints/valves replaced, and most recently a corroded steam pipe. I've only one issue in the distant past with a replaced outdoor spigot that broke after one season, and they came right out, determined that the original part wasn't for outdoor use and replaced at no charge. Reasonable prices and Ron is a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Wholeheartedly give 5 stars. Did an emergency replacement of a 56 year old oil tank which was starting to leak. They were professional, arrived when they said they would, and did a quality job. Transferred about 90 gallons of fuel oil to new tank. Also replaced fill and whistle pipes. Cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased and recommend them absolutely!

I hired Reichelt Construction Contracting in September 2024 to remove a load-bearing wall between my kitchen and dining room. My husband and I do most home improvement work ourselves, and have had bad experiences in the past with contractors which makes us a little wary when trusting someone else with our home, but I'm happy to say that Zach and his team were incredibly pleasant to work with and did efficient, high-quality work!
A different contractor I got a quote from before contacting RCC told me they wouldn't need to take a permit out, which I knew wasn't true and raised a red flag. Zach assured me he would follow the correct process by taking out a building permit and making sure the beam was perfectly calculated by an engineer to support the weight of the second floor. I knew I was in good hands, secure in the knowledge that all procedures and safety measures were followed.
Steve and Justin did great work the day of the job. I was impressed by how quickly they completed the whole project (less than a day!) while never raising any concerns about safety or quality. They built temporary walls to support the second floor before removing the studs of the load-bearing wall and then lifted the heavy load-bearing beam into place. All of their measurements were precise, and they made sure to clean up thoroughly when they were done.
Zach checked in several times throughout the day and then maintained excellent communication after the beam was in place, working with me to resolve a couple minor issues raised by the town inspector. He went above and beyond to quickly address any small concerns I had and made sure my husband and I were 100% satisfied with the job.

I hired Oliver Beer of Bauhaus Construction after he initially did a ceiling repair for me at a condo I own in Manchester. The ceiling repair was complicated and Oliver fixed the ceiling with a creative solution that the other contractors bidding didn't think of. Price wise, Bauhaus was more competitive than the other contractors. Based on my first experience with Bauhaus (Oliver) and after having numerous conversations about the rest of the condo which needed to essentially had to be gutted, I hired Oliver for this major project which took about 3 months to complete. Oliver works by himself, but he does the work of two people. The rehab project was complicated. The condo unit had extensive smoke damage which was a major challenge. The bathrooms needed gutting, pretty much new everything in the condo. Other contractors would have changed me $50-60k, but Oliver was not half that. Oliver is perfectionist with everything he does. The complicated paint job required as many as 5 coats of paint (on top of primer) and the popcorn ceiling was especially difficult. When the painting was done, the condo was unrecognizable from where we started. Along the way, Oliver had numerous design ideas that would not look great, but would cost effective. Oliver constantly went the extra mile searching out deals on appliances, cabinets, fixtures, tile and hardwood floors. Oliver used his many contacts to address unexpected issues that arose during the project (gas line issues, electrical issues etc). Overall, Oliver was phenomenal in all aspects of the project. I have recommended Oliver to 3 friends (and I never have recommended a contractor to anyone). After this project concluded I hired Oliver to finish my basement in my own home (the condo is rental unit) and result was terrific.
This is my second season with the lawn Doctor it was hard leaving the previous company after being with them for over 15 yrs blind to what more my lawn could look like so I decided to make that change I’ve been very much happier and pleased with the service I’m receiving and how my lawn is looking a bit higher but worth it for me my lawn is my pet peeve I literally got sick when my lawn wasn’t looking nor doing good since being with the lawn doctor I get a lot of compliments on the grass I make them aware that it treat by the lawn Doctor but I do the cutting, edging etc. and I must say that the person that answers the phone and handles bills names mark is. Very polite respectful calm and pleasant when talking with him regarding my lawn.

Just want to leave a shout out for Carone and Sons Landscaping. We needed a leaf pickup in Manchester as the oak tree's leaves always fall after the town's leaf collection is finished. After seeing a Carone and Sons truck doing yardwork nearby, I called to see if they could pick up our leaves. I received a call back later that same day with a plan to pick up the leaves the next business day. I also received a follow up call on the scheduled leaf pick up day to confirm the crew's arrival time. I could not be happier with this company!! They have excellent response time as well as excellent communication and follow up!!! I'll be sure to keep them in my contacts list for future yardwork and I highly recommend them. This past fall we had the front and side landscaping of our house completely redone by White Oak, and we are extremely happy with the result! After speaking with several landscaping companies the decision to move forward with White Oak was very easy. They got back to us very quickly and came to the house to discuss the project in detail. Both Shannon and Matt were very responsive with inquiries, including stone and plant selections based on our preferences. They also put together a render and discussed all details before kicking off the project. As part of the project they had to relocate some sprinkler heads, something that other companies would not do. We have been seeing Dr. Brian Ruggiero for a year now for bioresonance scanning, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! He has the top-of-the-line Qest4 bioenergetic system in his office, and the insights we’ve gained from it have been absolutely invaluable.
We primarily go for our 4-year-old daughter, who has complex medical issues and developmental delays, but my husband and I have also done scans, and every time, I am blown away by the accuracy and results. The remedy tinctures we’ve taken afterward have made a noticeable difference in how we feel—I always feel amazing after taking them! For our daughter, this scan has helped us navigate unknowns, uncover missing pieces of her complex puzzle, and guide us in the right direction. My daughter, who is typically very shy and nervous around medical practitioners, absolutely loves him—she affectionately calls him “Dr. B.” He is always so welcoming, patient, and makes our entire family feel like part of his own. He goes above and beyond to explain scan results, ensuring we understand everything, and he is always open to tailoring the scans to our daughter’s symptoms and medical history. His flexibility, including offering scans on select Saturdays, has been a lifesaver for us!
His office is gorgeous, immaculate, and truly feels like a cozy spa—the atmosphere alone makes every visit a calming experience. I was visiting from out of state with herniated disc. I was able to enjoy the rest of my stay with his quick diagnosis and treatment. The practice has a great adminstrator who was very helpful

Dr. Sutter and Manchester Vet Clinic were our Zuchon dog Molly's vet for 15 years. We lost her in April. They have always provided wonderful care. She developed pancreatitis when she was 2 - 3 because we fed her wrong. After she stabilized, they worked with me to find recipes for nearly fat free meals that met her nutritional needs and kept her well. We credit her longevity to those meals with all natural food and their care of her. After Molly passed naturally, they made a donation in her name to a charity that supports getting better food to dogs.....perfect! They sent a lovely handwritten card too. We have been using Animal Medical Clinic for out pet care for years. Dr. Vitelli is wonderful to work with. He shows great concern for our animal companions, and takes time to get to know not only them but their human companions as well.
Amanda loves all and every dog that she grooms, and they come home looking beautiful, but most importantly, happy. My dogs LOVE going to see Amanda for their spa day. Just look at the pictures of some of the dogs she grooms, and you can see a happy stressfree and gorgeous pup. I've been to other groomers before Cuts Fur Pups was established, and nothing can compare to the individualized and personal touch Amanda gives every dog.

My dog ( chihuahua) happens to be very difficult to trim his nails this is the only place that will take him on. They are amazing and humane. I absolutely love them. I am so greatful to have found them through a friend of mine as a walk in. Highly recommended.
Attended the intro yoga class and it was so peaceful. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. At $40 unlimited for the month I will definitely be back. Come take a class, you won't regret it.
Prenatal yoga and Baby and Mom yoga were both enormous gifts to me with my first. I met so many other new moms (many of whom I still stay in contact with) and treasured the opportunity to participate in such a supportive community of women. Melissa creates a comfortable, judgement free atmosphere that welcomes all. I am now back to prenatal with my second pregnancy and am so grateful for the Zoom and in-person options.
Caring Hands is an excellent establishment. I’ve worked with several different therapists over the years, and each has been competent and kind. Massage allows me to keep working as an ASL interpreter; it is essential to my comfort and quality of life. Effective massages and a time carved out for some peace! They all take good care of their clients.

Tania is an attentive and experienced massage therapist. She really listens and works to address my specific concerns with her therapeutic massage.
I injured myself working with case of sciatica in my hip so bad that I it was painful to walk. Anna knew exactly what to do and I immediately felt better after the massage and it completely cleared up a few days later.
I highly recommend the 208 Foot Spa. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had Kerrianne T. as my instructor, and it was the best experience I’ve had. She was kind, approachable, and incredibly patient. She addressed my problem areas and worked with me to improve them, helping me prepare for my test. One issue I’ve always had with driving schools is poor time management, but Kerrianne was exceptionally efficient. She made sure every minute of each lesson counted. The Next Street is truly the best.
