We can’t say enough wonderful things about Veterinary Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Dr. Stephanie Torlone, and Kellee. Our sweet Luna had always hated going to the vet — hiding under chairs and refusing treats the moment we walked through the door. Cancer treatments had been hard on her and on us, and we were just hoping to bring her some comfort.
From the moment we arrived, the difference was night and day. The space felt warm, calm, and inviting, not like the cold, rushed environment we’d experienced elsewhere. During our first visit, Luna stayed tucked under the chair, but by the second, she walked in on her own, curled up on the comfy blankets on the floor, and actually relaxed during her acupuncture treatment. It was incredible to see her find peace again.
When the time came to say goodbye, Dr. Torlone and Kellee made it as gentle and loving as possible. They encouraged us to bring Luna’s favorite foods and comfort items, and they created a quiet, peaceful space for our family to be together. It didn’t feel clinical — it felt like saying goodbye at home, surrounded by people who truly cared.
We’ve been to many vets over the years, but this experience was the most compassionate and humane we’ve ever had. Dr. Torlone and Kellee aren’t just medical professionals — they’re healers with huge hearts, and we’ll forever be grateful for the comfort they gave Luna and our family.”
