My husband went in to get a consultation on his locs, she informed him that she was capable of doing the necessary maintenance that was needed for his locs. When I saw the “work “ she did on his hair I was appalled, she slathered his hair with whatever she used for the so called retwist (which he did not want, only the maintenance)and left the locs hanging that needed the maintenance, that was not professional, you charged him for making a mockery of his head! The proper and decent thing you could have done is to say you’re unable to do it but instead you took his money and did nothing worthwhile….. I felt so bad for him, that’s not how you treat people/customers…..that was atrocious!!

Amazing experience from start to finish! Taye understands how to provide quality service.! she understands textures and will take her time to teach you about YOUR hair. I am super tender headed and terrified of getting my hair combed out from prior experiences elsewhere but she did not disappoint. No pulling and tugging! She took her time to detangle my hair and treat it in a comfortable way. It was my first silk press and I will certainly be back!!

0/10 don’t recommend, communication SUCKS !! There’s no booking site and you have to go through a middle person in order to get an appointment. I called on Friday 11/7 to do a walk-in for a wash and set, gave this person all my contact info, just to not be contacted to this day 11/13.

Taye really knows what she's doing! From the moment you walk in for your appointment, she takes the time to understand your hair. She's super professional and gives amazing service. My wife got her hair done here and couldn't be happier. She definitely found my new hair stylist

I pursued services for my son, who desired to extend the locs on the sides of his head. Following a paid consultation, which involved the determination of the number of locs required for the extensions and the selection of hair type—either synthetic or human—the extensions were installed. We chose to use human hair and paid for an ordered the necessary number of locs to finish his sides, in addition we waited for the her to make each loc individually. The stylist was unable to complete my son's hair at the initial appointment due to a lack of locs. This resulted in an additional fee for a follow-up appointment and additional hair, and him being unable to leave the house for several days as he looked unkempt. Subsequently, several of the extensions unravel and a few fell out. He returned a few times to have them re-installed, each time requiring a paid appointment. We eventually became frustrated with the incessant back and forth and sought services from a new stylist, who immediately recognized that the extensions were synthetic hair, not the human hair I had paid for. I was extremely disappointed with the result of our engagement, and I was even more enraged by her dishonesty.

I have been here several time to get my hair done and I must say that I have received no only great work on my hair but also amazing customer service. Owner, Taye did an amazing job on my braids and was very welcoming. Her space is very clean and accommodating. She is very mindful of the time and does such an amazing job. I will go back to have her do other styles in my hair.

My first experience there was the worst experience I've ever had!!! My appointment was scheduled for 10am and she didn't get to me until 1pm knowing I had plans and something to do after my appointment so she basically had me in the shop from 10-7 waiting on her knowing that I already paid half the money for a very expensive hairstyle. I went there for loc extensions and I had locs falling out less than a week of getting them done. Even though I was convinced by Taye this would be a permanent hairstyle. When I first texted taye about my locs untwisting less then 48 hours of getting my hair done she just gave me a bunch of excuses of why it was happening didn't even bother to look at it or fix my hair until I sent pictures a few days later with the locs actually coming out and a very concerning text message. She was very rude in her response to me and blamed me for being argumentative when all I was doing was telling her what was going on with my hair. She tried to confuse the conversation by saying one thing to me then going back correcting herself and saying another. One minute she blamed me for her mess up then she took accountability and said she was having a bad day. Which she wasn't she just wanted to go shoot her music video. I paid her 1125 for a hairstyle that didn't even last a month. Then when I asked for a refund because I no longer trusted that she can complete the hairstyle I am looking for she denied it and said she doesn't refund which she never mentioned in our consultation or her social media pages. I definitely don't recommend her services to anyone. My first visit was my last!! If I could I would give her no stars at all. If you want to stylist that lies blame you then own up to it once she gets caught in her lies then she is the stylist for you! But if your seeking professionalism this is definitely not the place to go to. Hence why the low ratings!

I am very picky with my hair due to many subpar experiences, but I must say that this hair stylist is top notch. She did my hair perfectly. Her salon is so relaxing and has a beautiful layout. I am glad to have found her on Google. I will definitely be a regular and recommending my family and friends.Services: Hair straightening
