“Performance in Hamden is the best place a person can go for physical therapy. The patient care is astounding; I have been to many PT places and none of them even come close to comparing. The staff is amazing, from the receptionists to the aids to the therapists themselves. They have made such an impact in my recovery to the point where my surgeon was surprised. They are extremely knowledgable and intentional with their exercises. They know when to push and when to slow you down. Unlike many of the PT places I have been to in the past, Performance never made me feel stranded or unattended. They listened to my needs and goals and created a plan to get me there. Additionally, they were attentive to pain, making sure I was in as minimal as possible and was never pushing myself to hard. Renee and Matt have been the best physical therapists. They really have made an extremely significant difference in my recovery. The establishment itself is very clean, and there is always parking. If you are looking for a PT place, just go here, you will be happy that you did.“

“My wife and I had a 1.5 hour deep tissue massage here and I can say it's the best so far in comparison to so many massage place I've been to. It relieved my upper back and shoulder pain. I feel bad for the therapist though because I'm a big guy but she didn't hold back and I felt relieved afterwards. Mine was hard deep tissue but you can tell them to make it moderate or light. The only thing is, they don't understand English, just some key words. But they also have their phone for translation. Overall they did the job and exceeded my expectations.“

“It's been some years ago since I got a massage here maybe 2017ish. My 5 stars is for service back in 2017. I will say that the establishment was clean and the person who did my massage was great! Being that it was my first time I didn't know what to expect. I slightly went off to sleep and after my massage was over, as I began to walk to the waiting area I asked why was my vision blurry and why was I walking wobbly down the hallway. She explained that my body had been purified from all the toxins!! Wow, that's incredible! I had no idea a massage could do that much to the body! It was an experience that I highly enjoyed! Years later to this date Aug 26, 2025, I was considering sending my sister here to get a massage but after reading the most recent comments I'm thinking differently..sorry Massage Envy you guys gotta do better?.“
