We had an issue with our septic system in Old Saybrook and called Finkeldey Septic at the recommendation of a plumber we had used. John did a fantastic job pumping & inspecting the system…..it hadn’t been cleaned that well since it was installed many years ago. He inspected the pipes & leaching fields with his camera system and assured us that the septic system was in good working order. Outstanding & fast, reliable service! If you aren’t using Finkeldey Septic, you aren’t using the BEST. HIGHLY recommended!
The work I had done by Cool Breeze went right. My 1977 house with electric baseboard heat needed an upgrade! Cool Breeze came on time, spec'ed out a whole-house mini-split ac/heat system. They sent me a detailed written quote a day later. I checked into things and the price was very fair. I agreed to the job. They coordinated w/ my electrician, showed up two weeks later, stayed with me for three days til finished. They were masked and careful re Covid, and left the place clean like theyd never been there, except for my new system! After 6 weeks of zero-hassle excellent heat, I thought i should write. Patrick is very responsible and responsive, if you have any landscaping concerns or interest in a new project, he or his partner Griffin will stop by quickly to discuss with you. Crew members are friendly and diligent; they always complete the jobs with great care and attention to detail. Maintaining a beautiful lawn is not easy, but Patrick and his team have been tremendously helpful in trying to do so.

We switched to Riverline Pools several years ago, and are very happy we did. Since then, they've done all our openings and closings, replaced our old single-speed pump with a more efficient variable-speed pump, and taken care of a few other service calls along the way. I've always found them to be quick to respond, easy to deal with, and the quality of their work is excellent. Their prices are also the best I've found anywhere in our area. This is not a big fancy company with high overhead and a huge staff -- just a dependable small business you can count on.

I’ve been taking my 93 year old mom here for a few years, having tried others around Essex and Killingworth. She’s happy with them, which is a blessing. She gets a simple manicure, so I can’t speak to the fancier services, but they always are happy to see her and fit her in.
