The office has a great selection of frames, and the glasses were ready within a week. I was also able to get a trial pair of contact lenses after my exam and educated on the differences of daily versus monthly contact wear. Additionally, I came into the office to have him repair a loose screw in the arm of the glasses, which was done efficiently and even adjusted them. “I had my first cataract surgery eight years ago with Dr. Solinsky. I came back to him again this year to correct the cataract in my other eye. Both then and now, it always strikes me how friendly and inclusive this practice is! The staff and patients both are largely from Hartford and West Hartford. Spanish-speaking patients find Spanish-speaking technicians and doctors. The staff reflects the rich cultural milieu of the community. And all staff members are knowledgeable, caring, and gentle. I give all the credit for this to Dr. Solinsky. He has truly built a wonderful practice! And he himself is a wonderfully capable doctor and surgeon, and an excellent listener. As his patient, I know that he heard and considered my priorities, and advised me with the ideal outcome in mind. I am delighted with my new lens!“

He did end up needing glasses which we picked out there! This was a great experience! The appointment was a little long but I liked that they were thorough.“

One of my staff members has a special needs son who gets overwhelmed when he is around other people. She asked me if My Eye Doctor would have staff come out to her car and adjust his glasses.
