While all of their staff is extremely talented, we have especially appreciated working with Dr. Llewy over the years. Her love for animals, genuine concern for their wellbeing, attention to detail, and informed, thoughtful approach have meant the world to us.

Two of our dogs have had complex medical needs. We lost our 15.5 year old dog last year, who lived 3.5 years longer than expected, and our 15 year old dog’s conditions continue to be well managed under her care.

I give full credit to Dr. Llewy for extending their lives, and I will never be able to thank her enough for giving us more time with our precious girls.“

The care and attention we received from everyone, including Andrea the Practice Manager, who helped explain what was happening as well as Doctor T, who reviewed Mocha’s X-rays and confirmed that we were making the right choice in saying goodbye now, was so appreciated. Thank you for being there for us when we needed you most. We were able to bring our baby home and have a veterinarian hospice put Mocha down in the comfort of her own home thanks to the guidance and care we received at Denver Animal Hospital.“

“Took my 15 year old best friend in for her annual shots and physical. Service was great and on time, doctor found an eye infection, said she did not need a nail trim. All went well and the provider and staff were very attentive and thorough in explaining how to give eye cream. I will be back!“

“I've been taking my dogs to this clinic since 2007. They have helped with numerous issues over the years or recommended specialists for persistent issues like allergies or eye care. Notably most of the dogs I have had in that time were large and lived to 14 or more years old.“

“My normal Vet had be bring my shepherd here out of concern of her gum color. After checking her out and verifying they were a normal color, the doctor was also very transparent in telling me that the other issue we were there for was not an emergency, if I wanted to just follow up with my vet to save myself some money. I decided to take that suggestion and the doc waived my exam fee and sent me on my way, which was just so kind of her to do!! They easily could have still charged me the exam fee, but she saved me $200!

I highly recommend this place for honest care, and will be coming back for any future emergencies!“

“My little Yorkie girl suddenly developed a horrible honking cough, like she had something stuck in her throat and she could not cough it up and at times could not catch her breath. Huron Animal Hospital got me in same day and we saw Dr. Seiffert. The tech immediately took her into the back to give her some oxygen to help her breathe better. They asked if they could take an x-ray and I said of course! The vet came back and said that she has a collapsed trachea. That’s why she’s fighting for her breath.. We talked about several options, starting with surgery to managing comfort care in the interim. The vet even called down to the specialty wheat Ridge Hospital to get more information about doing a tracheal stent. I Just appreciate the straight talk and helping to come up with options and solutions. My Yorkie is doing OK with the medications Dr Seiffert sent us home with. Ijust have to keep her calm until I can determine the best surgery solution and where to get it done. It is just very comforting to have a partner with Huron Animal Hospital as I go through some tough And costlydecision-making. When I paid my bill before I left, I was pleasantly surprised as it was Very reasonable. I have a new vet now! Thanks, Huron Animal Hospital and Dr. Seiffert!“
