About Pharmacy | Kaiser Permanente Longmont Medical Office
The Pharmacy | Kaiser Permanente Longmont Medical Office provides a mixed experience for its patients. The pharmacy is praised for being patient-friendly, eager to help, and answering questions. However, the new phone prompts are criticized for being confusing and unhelpful. The lab services, on the other hand, are a point of frustration. Patients report that the lab is often closed for lunch breaks, leaving them unable to get their tests done. This has led to inconvenience and upset, especially for those with children or elderly patients. Despite these issues, the overall experience at the medical office is positive. Patients have been satisfied with the care they have received, from their primary care physicians to the specialists. The staff are described as helpful, caring, and capable of addressing both routine and more serious medical needs. Many patients have recommended the services to their family and friends.
Pharmacy? Great. The lab? Not so much. I've gone more than once to try to get labs at the time I'm able to and the entire lab was on lunch with a crappy hand written sign over the call button. Why do the labs not cover each other's breaks?? Also there were multiple elderly people there waiting who clearly just had to wait the hour until they came back. It's so inconsiderate to the services you all provide to have this be happening multiple times.
This pharmacy is very good at what they do. They are patient friendly, eager to help and answer questions.
The big draw back is the new phone prompts. It takes you in this large circle providing unneeded information. It trys to redirect you to an automated system that you can not find what you need. Why did you change the system. Not everything needs to be updated. If it ain't broken, don't fix it
I have never had a problem with this pharmacy in the past 20 years until recently. Within the last couple of months I have had two incidences that have me wondering how I can get my prescriptions somewhere else without driving 30 miles out of my way. Both incidents regarded my purchasing an expensive medication that I need to deal with a pharmaceutical company copay assistance card. I'm sure I'm not the only person in this situation. Although, the attitude I get from supervisory people when I try to get the documentation I need is ridiculous. Not to mention, if you have to call them, they randomly choose not to answer the phone and have no voicemail system. They are anything...read full review
