I came in to get the hem of a pair of pants taken up bc I thought they were too long and she took one look and said you don’t need it. She offered to still take it up if I wanted to but that she didn’t think I needed it. She was SO right! This is exact type of seamstress/tailor I’ve been looking for; someone who will use their expertise to guide you on how things should fit, where your hem should be etc. The other two pairs of pants I brought in (one needed the waist taken in, and the other needed the hem fixed from another tailor messing it up) turned out fantastic! “My kid is in Denver for an AnimeCon today and the head piece I made for the costume fell apart. I googled for a seamstress or tailor close to the venue, then asked for one with experience with costumes and this came up. I phoned and explained the situation to a very polite gentleman named Jason who compassionately listened to our predicament. I explained I was calling from out of Denver as we don't live there. Also that what I made was very DIY and would probably need glue and staples and not sewn. He asked if she was close by and if I could send her right down. I let him know she was in full costume and makeup and just asked he do anything he could to just help her get through the day. We both chuckled a bit, myself not knowing if he could help, and him probably for a request not exactly requiring a tailor. She was 6 minutes away and shortly text me letting me know he had found a way to put together and reinforce what I made to get her through the Animecon. From the website it looks like a tailor with expertise in fine tailoring and elegant bridal wear as well as sharply tailored suits. I hope my kid coming over in costume added something different from your usual day if anything. Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to look at it even if you couldn't help but you did. This interaction displayed more than good customer service to me. It displayed the content of character of the business and how it went above and beyond in an attempt to help a customer and that is so very rare in todays world.
