About Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE)
Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) is a veterinary clinic known for their competent care and quick response in addressing pet health issues. The staff, including Dr. Anderson, have been praised for their kindness, compassion, and excellent communication skills, ensuring that pet owners are well informed throughout the treatment process. Although there is room for improvement in follow-up care after discharge, the clinic's compassion is highlighted by thoughtful gestures, such as sending cards to grieving pet owners. CASE is also noted for their quick response times, helping pets in distress, like those with scratching issues or not eating. The overall exceptional veterinary skills and dedication to saving pets' lives make CASE a highly recommended choice for emergency animal care. Clients have expressed satisfaction with the clinic's services, especially in cases of critical conditions, including mast cell cancer and IMHA. The staff is commended for their attentiveness and ability to communicate the expected course of care. Visitors appreciate the ability to visit their pets during "visiting hours" and the competent handling of emergency situations, such as a dog bitten by a rattlesnake and a cat who swallowed a long thread. While the cost can be high for some services, the overall experience at CASE is described as positive, with the clinic providing a comfortable environment and competent care.
Brought my dog into CASE right off of the hiking trail after he was bitten by a rattlesnake. They gave emergency cares immediately, informed me of the expected course of cares required to help him, and communicated multiple times daily about his progress. He was hospitalized for about 30 hours in total. My family really appreciated the ability to visit with our pup during “visiting hours”. I hope to not need emergency veterinary services again anytime soon but it’s also nice to know that CASE is close if I do.
I was so happy with my visit to CARE. I was referred here by another ER when my cat swallowed a long thread. I was extremely anxious and distraught, but the environment of CARE put me at ease and the person who did my intake (I believe it was Rachael?) seemed very competent and communicative which made me feel extremely comfortable leaving my boy with them. They successfully removed the string endoscopically and he’s recovered very easily. Thank you to the whole staff at CARE - I appreciate everything you do.
Our cat, who ingested some Apoquel, was attended to promptly after we brought her to CASE. The vet was clear and concise with her findings, and she answered all our questions. The cost was somewhat high for just having an evaluation and blood work done.
